About Me

Hi! Welcome to my blog!

My name is Elizabeth and I live in Nashville, Tennessee. I'm a 30-year-old stay-at-home mother to handsome twin boys named Hudson and Brayden. I met my wonderful husband Tommy at work while I was in high school. We married a few years later in 2002 (no I was not still in high school at the time of our marriage). I graduated from The University of Tennessee in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Communications with a concentration in public relations.

Quickly into our marriage we were ready to start a family. After many years of trying (and doctors telling us we had a less than 1% chance of ever having children naturally), we decided to try in vitro fertilization (IVF). God blessed us on our first attempt and we welcomed twins into the world in November 2009...almost 7 1/2 years after we got married. They are our miracle babies! And they were worth the wait!

All four of us are now "hitched together" on this crazy journey we call LIFE.

I'm a Christian so my faith guides me each and every day. I hope to raise Hudson and Brayden to understand that Christ is there for them like He was there for me. He truly answers our prayers. Those boys are my testimony of faith.

I love photography, running, decorating, reading, eating anything with chocolate, animals, and my family. I'm not a writer but I'm trying my best with this blog (which is odd since I have a degree in communications. Go figure.).

Follow me through this blog for an "almost" daily look at my life trying to raise twins, remodel a home, stay connected to friends and family, get dinner on the table each night, and pleasing my husband...all the while trying to maintain my sanity. My constant reminder each day is that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

And my motto is "do not worry about anything, instead pray about everything." (Philippians 4:6-7)

I hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy creating it!
